Huck's Tough Decision

I made a decision to move out of my house. This decision was tough because my parents want me home for the rest of my life, but I had to make this decision because it would benefit me in the long run. I thought it would be easier because my parents wouldn't bug me about cleaning my room, and I could be independent. This decision was a bad decision because I need my parents to support me. Maybe when I get a real job I won't need to be dependent on them.

Vocab Story

I was always a aficionado to the good life. You know, haciendas, limousines, big televisions. But, being as my job as a host a buffet restuarant never left me with a bonanza of money, so I just lived in the barrios of San Josè. But after eons, it seemed like, to get out of the barrio, I moved into a big hacienda, large enough for me and my 32 chickens. After my siesta, I walked into the grocery store to get some carrots, I sure was hungry. And while I was checking out, I was swarmed with paparazzis!! I was so confused. What was going on?! They were all yelling, "MILEY! MILEY! SMILE FOR THE CAMERA MILEY!" I had realized they thought I was Miley Cyrus!! So distrout, I just smiled for the camera. Next thing I know, I was being dragged to the set of Hannah Montana. I felt like a horse that had just been caught by a lariat. I just had to go and pretend to be Miley. After I did the Hannah Montana show, they dragged me off, stuck me in a private jet setting off from a small airport. Then, I realized they were getting ready for me to sing at the Grammys. Now I wasn't so excited. Anon, I lost my great confedience, and became very bravado. I couldn't do this gig. I mean, diurnal, I sing in the shower, but I couldn't possibly sing for millions of people!

Women Writers

I think women writers differ from men because they have a different view on things, coming from the woman's perspective. Men and women may experience the same experiences, talk about the same topics, but they are different coming from a man or a woman. I don't think writing styles differ because of gender, but differ because of personality. It doesn't matter to me if a story is written by a man or a woman. But sometimes, depending on the topic, I like reading books by women because I could somewhat relate to the author, since I'm a female as well. I think it matters if the author is a man or woman. We have so many men authors, let's get some ladies in the literature!!

A Day Without Technology.

The day I was supposed to go a day without technology never happened. I had to use my phone to call my mom because she was worried about me. And I listened to my iPod. Oops.
